Proposed New model for STF Across Swansea
Please see the following letter from the Director of Education with regards to proposed new model for STF across Swansea. As part of this consultation the local Authority wish to gather the views of parents and carers. Part of the proposal is to close the Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) STF facility at Birchgrove Comprehensive. This proposal would result in the closure of the 2 MLD STF classes.
The proposal will come into effect once current learners within the MLD STF have left, no further pupils would be offered a place should the proposal proceed. The remaining STF classes are unaffected, and admissions to these will continue.
We would urge you as parents to engage in the consultation and make your views known in the link via the attached letter
