Letter to Parents/Carers and pupils sitting examinations during the Summer Series 2026

Dear Parents/Carers and Pupils,
Examination Timetables
Year 10 and Year 11 examination timetables have now been emailed to both pupils and parents/carers. Please ensure that your child carefully checks all details for each exam, including the date, start time, venue, and allocated seat number, as these may be subject to change.
Pupils must arrive at school in good time before the start of each examination. Any pupil arriving late will still be required to sit the exam if they arrive before 10:00am; however, the school is required to report the lateness to the awarding body. It is then at the awarding body’s discretion whether marks will be awarded for that paper, depending on the reason for the delay.
If a pupil does not attend an examination for which they have been entered, parents/carers may be asked to reimburse the school for the cost of the missed exam. Entry fees are typically around £40 per unit, and most subjects consist of two units.
Thank you for your continued support in ensuring pupils are well prepared and punctual for their examinations.
Thank you,

Amy Jenkins

Exams Officer
